Fame is being remade. Fame can’t be remade, it isn’t just about a fine arts high school it is about a time era in NYC. A time before shows like American Idol, before reality tv, before scripted reality, before people were just handed things, before voices could be altered with computers, before mediocre ppl rose to fame, and before the stupid, “everyone deserves a part because we wouldn’t want anyone’s feelings to get hurt” (and guess when these kids grow up with giant egos and just end up getting more hurt in the long run.) It was about a time when talent actually got you somewhere and when money didn’t matter in the game. Fame is about the theater and this stupid remake with it’s r&b/pop theme song makes me sick. Hot Lunch Jam will NEVER be the same without the old school leos and I’m sorry but the abortion topic, and suicide topics and eating disorders and failure just don’t have the same taboos that they used to – and that’s sad. This movie is going to tarnish a great oldie and that makes me pissed. enough with the rant – watch the original.

Why is it that some of the best trailers are leaving us hanging for so long? Disney’s new movie Ocean doesn’t come out until 2010 (if I could put numbers in all caps I would). It looks amazing and I didn’t realize that these nature films were part of Disney long before the save everything that lives on the Earth movements…check it out.

I remembered it. So Netflix’s homepage said you can rent as many movies as you want. I beg to differ. I can no longer add anymore movies to my queue because it has reached a 500 movie limit. So really you can rent 500 movies at a time. Why 500 do you ask? I don’t want to forget a single movie. But it kinda scares me that I’ll probably die before I see all of the movies on my wait list…then again Clint Eastwood has made like 500 movies and his still alive and kickin…and after all I just want to watch the movies…
